DXF TO G-CODE
GcodAi
CAD FILE TO CNC
GcodAi helps you convert DXF to G-code for CNC router work: upload your CAD file, set the bit, depth, feed rate and spindle speed, and check the 2D preview before downloading the .nc file.
Your DXF should be clean 2D geometry with no hidden layers or unnecessary duplicate lines. For lettering, convert the text to outlines first, and check that the units are millimeters so the size comes out exactly right.
Delete construction lines, center lines and any layer you don't want cut before uploading.
Contour work should use closed paths so the software can clearly read the part boundary.
Verify the real size in mm so the file doesn't come out larger or smaller than the actual job.
